                                 The Sandra Blake Memorial Scholarship

The Sandra Blake Memorial Scholarship is available to all college students who demonstrate financial need.

Here is what is required to become eligible for the scholarship:
1)      Applicants must be full-time undergraduate students who are taking at least 12 credits.
2)      Applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of a 2.5 and no outstanding disciplinary action.
2A) High School seniors must submit a high school transcript displaying at least a 75.0% cumulative GPA and college acceptance
        letters.
3)   Applicants must submit an essay, no less than 300 words, demonstrating how he or she will improve the
      world in the areas of: political involvement, community service, volunteer work and charity.
4)     Applicants must submit a resume demonstrating a proven record of community service either on campus
      or in a community-based organization (ex: church, JROTC, etc.)

5) Applicants must receive a written recommendation from any school faculty member, written
recommendation from a legal guardian and a written recommendation from someone not related to
the applicant's school or to the applicant’s family.
